     ภาควิชาดนตรี คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครปฐม เปิดสอนระดับปริญญาตรีสายครุศาสตรบัณฑิต โปรแกรมวิชาดนตรีศึกษาครั้งแรก เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2530 มีนักศึกษารุ่นแรก 11 คน อาจารย์ 4 คน จัดการเรียนการสอนแขนงดนตรีศึกษา เอกเดียวแบบกว้าง นักศึกษาต้องเรียนทั้งดนตรีไทยและดนตรีสากล และเว้นการเรียนการสอนเพื่อปรับปรุงภาควิชาอยู่ 2 ปี จึงเปิดรับนักศึกษารุ่นที่ 2 ในปีการศึกษา 2533 

      ปัจจุบันมีนักศึกษาจบการศึกษาไปแล้วจำนวน 20 รุ่น จึงเปลี่ยนแผนการเรียนการสอนเป็นแบบลึก เริ่มตั้งแต่รุ่นที่ 10 ปีการศึกษา 2541 โดยมีนักศึกษาที่เข้ามาเรียนผ่านการทดสอบความถนัดและจะเลือกแขนงดนตรีไทยหรือดนตรีสากล แขนงใดก็ได้

        ปีการศึกษา 2542 เริ่มมีแนวคิดการจัดแบบโปรแกรมวิชามาใช้ในสถาบันประกอบกับปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการเรียนการสอบแบบหมู่เรียนเดียวแต่มี 2 แขนงวิชา ทำให้การบริหารงานวิชาการและจัดแผนการเรียนทำได้ด้วยความยากลำบาก มติที่ประชุมภาควิชาจึงให้แบ่งการบริหารและงานวิชาการทุกอย่างออกเป็น 2 โปรแกรม เพื่อทำหน้าที่สร้างบัณฑิตทางดนตรีสายตรง คือ "โปรแกรมดนตรีไทย" และ "โปรแกรมดนตรีสากล" ทั้งนี้เพื่อการบริหารและการจัดการในอนาคต และในปีการศึกษา 2547 ทางมหาวิทยาลัยมีนโยบายให้โปรแกรมวิชาดนตรีไทย และโปรแกรมวิชาดนตรีสากล รวมเป็นโปรแกรมวิชาเดียวกันและทำการเปิดสอนสายศิลปศาสตรบัณฑิตจนถึงปีการศึกษา 2554 ปีการศึกษา 2554 - 2555 โปรแกรมวิชาดนตรีได้พัฒนาหลักสูตรใหม่ คือ หลักสูตรครุศาสตรบัณฑิต สาชาวิชาดนตรีศึกษา ซึ่งเริ่มจัดการเรียนการสอนในปี 2555

     

     Music Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University established in 1990  in the degree of education curriculum (receptive course). At that time, there are only 11 students and 4 lecturers. Most of the students had to study in Thai traditional and western music. For developing the music curriculum, the music department was closed in 2 years then audition the students to study again in 1994.

     10 years later, the music curriculum was developed again to teach music education degree in depth. Also, the students had responsible to choose the instrument between Thai Traditional or Western music instrument. In 1999, the teaching and learning of the university ' vision had changed as group program. It seemed harder than the past in term of   management and arrangement.  University's  resolution informed to seperate to be Thai Traditional music program and Western Music Program for making easy. In 2004, both of program became to be music program because of changing the curriculum  from music education's degree to Art's degree. The time has gone, 7 years later the curriculum degree of Art is becoming to be music education again in 2011 for serve  social's need.

    Additionally, the music department produced the quality music students to be professionals over 20 years  and work in the field of music disciplinary.

มุ่งผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีความรู้ความสามารถ เจตคติ ทักษะด้านดนตรีไทยและดนตรีสากล เพื่อนำไปใช้ในการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้านดนตรี และยึดมั่นในจริยธรรมวิชาชีพ



To produce music graduator that has abilities, Professional attitudes in music and also skill in term of Thai traditional and Western music for responding to the societies and adhere in ethics
